The findings reveal a grim reality: hundreds of lives lost, families displaced, and faith under siege due to attacks by extremist factions such as Boko Haram and al-Shabab.
In Nigeria, the violence has extended from the northern regions into the Middle Belt and beyond, with over 1,200 deaths reported in the past year alone. The DRC, despite its predominantly Christian population, faces relentless terror in the east, while Somalia’s minority Christians endure heightened risks. The report criticizes the international community’s sluggish response, pointing out the failure to designate these nations as “Countries of Particular Concern” by the U.S., which could trigger stronger interventions.
