ISIS Targets Christians in Mozambique Raids

ISIS militants attacked Christian villages in Chiúre, northern Mozambique, burning homes and churches and killing at least nine believers in late July 2025. The raids, part of an ongoing insurgency in Cabo Delgado, displaced nearly 60,000 people, highlighting the escalating persecution of Christians amid regional instability.
