Trump Announces Two-Week Ceasefire with Iran: “We Have Exceeded All Military Objectives”

Washington, D.C. – President Donald Trump announced tonight that the United States will suspend all bombing and attacks on Iran for a period of two weeks. He described the move as a double-sided ceasefire, stating that military objectives have already been met and exceeded.

In a direct statement, Trump said: “We have already met and exceeded all military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning long-term PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East.”

Trump revealed that Iran has submitted a 10-point proposal, which he called “a workable basis on which to negotiate.” According to the President, almost all major points of past contention have already been agreed upon between the United States and Iran. The two-week pause is intended to allow time for the agreement to be finalized and signed.

Trump concluded by saying it is “an honor” to bring this long-standing problem close to resolution on behalf of the United States and the countries of the Middle East.

The announcement comes after weeks of intense U.S. and Israeli military operations against Iranian targets, including strikes on nuclear-related sites, missile facilities, energy infrastructure, and senior regime figures.
