U.S. Deports Former Iranian Regime Official Masoumeh Ebtekar and Family

The United States has deported Masoumeh Ebtekar, a key figure in the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis known as “Screaming Mary,” along with her entire family. Ebtekar, who served as Vice President of Iran until 2021, received permanent residency under the Obama administration in 2014. ICE took her family into custody this week pending deportation.
