On July 31, 2025, Christian leaders gathered at the Family Research Council’s Washington headquarters to address a troubling surge in antisemitism within the political right. Pastor Mario Bramnick, president of the Latino Coalition for Israel, announced the formation of a task force to confront anti-Israel rhetoric and antisemitic narratives propagated by prominent conservative figures. Co-sponsored by the Conference of Christian Presidents for Israel, the closed-door roundtable highlighted the urgency of holding accountable those who blend pro-Israel stances with harmful ideologies.

Bramnick, a key figure in Christian Zionist advocacy, pointed to media personalities like Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, and Candace Owens, who have increasingly promoted conspiracies or rhetoric accusing Jewish advocacy groups like AIPAC of disloyalty. Luke Moon of the Philos Project noted a shift from fringe extremist groups to mainstream conservative platforms, with figures like Carlson amplifying Holocaust revisionists, sparking bipartisan backlash. This “metastasis” of antisemitism, as Moon described, threatens the integrity of pro-Israel advocacy.

Beyond the task force, Bramnick’s leadership extends to unifying Christian pro-Israel voices. In September 2024, he helped establish the Conference of Presidents of Christian Organizations in Support of Israel, fostering a cohesive front. His international efforts included a February 2025 meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reinforcing evangelical support for Israel’s sovereignty and security.

The task force marks a bold step to ensure advocacy for Israel remains free of antisemitic undertones. Bramnick’s initiatives, from grassroots mobilization to confronting divisive rhetoric, underscore a commitment to strengthening U.S.–Israel ties while upholding moral clarity in the face of rising Jew-hatred.
