Nicosia – Last week in Cyprus, the trilateral work plan for military cooperation between Greece, Cyprus, and Israel, along with bilateral plans between the IDF and the Hellenic Armed Forces and the Cypriot National Guard for 2026, were signed. The Israeli delegation, led by Brigadier General Amit Adler, Head of the IDF International Cooperation Division, met in Nicosia with Greek and Cypriot counterparts during the annual joint meeting.

The agreements include joint exercises and training, working groups in various fields, and strategic dialogue on shared interests. The signing marks a deepening of ties, contributing to stability, security, and peace in the Eastern Mediterranean.

This cooperation builds on existing frameworks, enhancing interoperability amid regional challenges, including tensions with Turkey over Cyprus and energy resources.
